Our Story

How did we get here?

Just like so many parents, we thoroughly researched potential schooling models and questioned countless friends about their schooling experiences.

The rethinking education model of Acton Academy offers what we want for our children and for all children - to be prepared for a meaningful life, with 21st century skills that focus on learning to "Do" and to learning to "Be" while embracing the path of a lifelong learner.

Acton Academy is a proven network of learner-driven micro-schools, founded by educators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and parents.
